Default Header Gasket

I just got a Chikara header im gonna install Suday. So i went up to Advance Auto to get some "Anti-seize lubricant" for the bolts, and they said that they think i would need a gasket sealent for the header and Y-pipe gaskets.... is this true?? Plus any advice on the install would be cool

I used it on my header just for a better seal. Although if you use a Mr Gasket header gasket it's made of copper and seals better.

A new gasket along with flat mating sufaces on the head and header will not leak. If there is a leak, you have bigger problems to work out.
