Default Fuel System Hell!!!

ok, after driving my car for a few hours on sunday, while the weather was half way decent, i figured out a bunch of the lil probs that i have left (stupid lil shit) & it went very well overall... the problem comes when i went to check somethin under my hood yesterday & tried to start the car.. i hear the fuel pump kick on & the gauge shows me like 4lbs of fuel pressure at the rail.. i'm like wtf!! so in discouragement i got online & ordered a Walbro fuel pump 255lph / a fuel filter / 750cc RC injectors / & a Bigger fuel rail to go with my AEM adjustable FPR that i have sittin here.. no more games with this crap!

so you arent able to get the car started then? what fuel pressure regulator are you using? stock or aftermarket? does adjusting the regulator adjust the pressure youre seeing in the rail?

i was just mad that i drove the damn thing all day the day b4 & i knew that i needed to upgrade my fuel system anyways to keep up with the amount of boost that i want to run so i didn't even mess with it.. i just ordered my stuff. I drilled & tapped the stock rail for my Fuel pressure gauge thats in there currently & i was runnin my AEM FPR on the stock rail.. i did notice that my pressure was somewhat dropping durring the day sunday as i was driving it... but i really didn't care to mess with it at the time.

What about the fuel fitler? It seems possible that it could be clogged/semi-clogged/gunked up...that could cause a lack of pressure at the rail
