Hi all,

Recently bought some used skunk2 coilovers from a friend. Two of the springs have slight rust on the coil, enough that the red paint is peeling up. Do you think they are safe to ride on? I was thinking of sanding the rusted portion of the ring to see how much the coil has rusted, and just painting over it.. . Any input is appreciated.

i doubt that they have rusted through. Go ahead & sand it down & repaint or have them Powder Coated. Skunk2's are great
