Default Motor Swap ?

ive been thinking about doing a swap in my 93 hatch for a while. Ive been back and forth between alot of different motors. I was wondering if anyone had any oppinions or advice that might help me out in this journey. ive also heard alot about the new k motors. what car are they out of ? whats the hp rating ? any help would greatly be apreciated.

If you have the cash, i would go with the K series. There fromt the EP3 SI civics and DC5 Integras (RSX) here.

The Civic/base Model RSX K20 has 160 HP
The Integra/RSX Type R/S K20 varies from 200, 210, 220hp 200 being 02-04 models for USDM, 210 being 05 model USDM, and 220 for JDM ITR

I would seriously consider the k20. N/A they put down some great numbers in EG/EK/DC2 cars

but if your on a smaller budget, Turbo D, Swap to a B, H, F series might be the way to go.

i would go with Hmotors, ive gotten 3 engines from them and they have all been in good condition for a used engine when i received them ( with the usual waterpump, clutch, etc...other minor things to worry about with used engines)

a friend of mine bought an engine off ebay, it sucked, he got a CTR engine when he received it however it was in very bad shape. There was an oil leak somewhere, and we couldnt figure out why it was doing it. we changed the seals and everything else we could think of to fix it, but never fixed the problem. so yeah, 3.5K down the drain.

HMOTORS has my vote :goodjob:
