hey guys, i know this is been somewhat covered before, but it seems that people are being real specific about a specific muffler when they ask about this.

I'm looking for a decent sounding muffler, somewhat quiet. My Loudness days are over. I still want a nice deep sound but nothing thats gonna be getting me pulled over!

Only requirement is that it has to have a 2.75in. or 3 inch. Inlet due to my custom exaust.


What mufflers would u guys recommend?

ohh.. & make it something cost effective.. don't have a thousand bucks to throw at a muffler!

 

ES Oval...but I think the biggest is 2.5 :thinking:

 

i loved my greddy sp, but that is also 2.5". i dont think theres too many companys that make a 3", but you could always have a muffler modify one

 

i got an apex'i N1 i used on my 95 hatch for bout 6 months. its got a 3 inch inlet. your gonna need to weld your own hanger bar things, the stupid exhaust guys at the shop i went to just cut them off insead of unhookin them from the rubber hanger things. its yours for 50 bucks plus shipping.

 

I want that same sound, but I still got stock exhaust on my Civic. Suggestions?
