Default Need Simple 01 Civic Help!

Hi, i really don't know a ton about cars. i need help on a few things with my 01 civic ex.
1) my friend took my manual out of my car, and i have no idea how to change the clock... can someone give me instructions?

2) the red SRS light is lit up on my dash... i did not have my car for the past 3 weeks, and dont remember it having been on... does it mean somethin's wrong?

3) my seatbelt won't catch. as in, the metal part won't click into the mechanism. i have to do it over and over till it catches.. how to fix?

4) my car rattles on the inside. not just with high base, but when i go over a bump, or play any music at any volume... where is it coming from, and how do i make it go away?

anyone who can help with ANY of this would be GREATLY appreciated.

--------- Kristi

Don't know about the clock, but the SRS system is what controls your air bags. It is usually indicative of the system having an error and it will not likely work correctly if you are in an accident. I recommend having that checked out post haste.

Seatbelt problem: did something fall into the seatbelt female end? Might try taking that piece out of the car and shaking it out... something to consider.

The rattle could be anything. You have to locate it... there's no way someone that hasn't been in your car will be able to tell you where that problem is...

Go to the dealer and get all that safety stuff checked out ASAP.

As for the rattles, have someone else drive and you sit in the car and try to figure out where it's coming from.

clock...
turn the radio off, hold down the clock button, and while holding it press the 4, 5, or 6 preset buttons, they say H and M under them. once u got the time right, let go of the clock button.

SRS and seatbelt...
take it to the dealer. there's nothing u can do.

rattling...
typicall on 7th gens, the hold prop rattles, and the rear deck rattles, there's not really anything u can do. maybe dynamat the rear deck. just turn up your radio and forget about it.

Before you set your clock you may just want to disconnect the ground wire on the battery, go into the car, turn your key to on and then off and reconnect the ground. This may reset any error codes that may have popped up as far as the srs goes...
It worked when my ex-wife backed into a pole and my SRS light came on...
Good luck
