I think what he is trying to say is that if they come out with the 06 Civic SI with 200 hp they will need to boost the RSX type S from 200 HP to 240 HP. That is so the RSX stays ahead of the Civic in terms of HP. Otherwise people might be more inclined to buy the Civic because it is cheaper yet produces the same HP. Again, I am saying this in a hypothetical situation. Currently the 02-04 RSX 200 HP. 05 RSX 210 HP. New Civic SI rumored to have 200 HP. I think if they give the 06 Civic SI 200 HP they are going to need to bump up the RSX Type S to 240 HP. Am I being clear on this?

I hope that the concept car looks like the actual model that comes out. I can only think of one word to describe the concept, "perfect". The absolute only think I can think of that I would change about the Civic SI would be to make it rear wheel drive. But that will never happen...

I highly doubt they will come out with a 240HP RSX, mainly because they just redesigned it, plus rumors are flying around that it might be taken off the assembly line in 06-07 i cant remember which year.

RicoD, you really heard that they are going to take the RSX off the assembly line in the near future? Man, that means the RSX will have only been around for like 5 years. That is pretty sad if what you say is true. I, personally think the car is really cool. It does have that love it or hate it look, though. You either love the car or hate it. You are probably right, if they were going to give the RSX a 240 HP engine they would have done it with the '05 redesign. I wonder what is in store for the compact car in the next 5 years for Honda/Acura? Whatever they do, they need to bring out a coupe that is affordable which has rear wheel drive. I love the S2000 but it's a bit pricy. You have to admit, a true sports car has RWD and no matter how much you try to deny it RWD will always out perform FWD. Understandibly, FWD has it's benefits, snow, traction, etc. Remember the old Toyota MR2? Mid engine, RWD. That car rocked...Why cant Honda come out with something similar to that? Bah, now I am just rambling. Talk to ya later...

Am I the only one who thinks that concept 06 SI looks 90% like the current accord coupe?

i believe there was a thread around here or some other forum saying how the RSX-S was going to be taken off the line. I remember it cuz i posted in it arguing how stupid it sounded to take it off the line after redesign the damn thing. But whatever... Search for it you might find it. *I believe the info was posted in errr...temple of vtec i cant remember...either way its just rumors*

Cashis i agree with you on that.... i think on the thread started awhile back, a lot of people were saying it looked like a mini accord, or an accord front with a scion tc rear end.
