Default Used Trannys

Ok, so my tranny deal fell through. I have a 96 Civic EX (D16Y8) with a nasty 3rd gear grind. Anybody know where I can get a good deal on a used tranny, preferrably with low miles? Been watching Ebay, but not too much of a selection there.

Thanks

Try Brian Wong (b18c1_powered_si) on Honda-Tech. I believe he is SFGuy329 on AIM. He is basically a junk yard, but he will not budge on pricing so don't even try.

Good deal. Thanks for the info. What about these gearspeed trannys? Not familiar with those.

Probably wouldn't hurt to call them. I've never used them before so I don't have insight into their pricing or reliability.

I have a GSR and LS tranny. I'm stingy though. :db:
