Problem With Headlight And Water
I just purchased a used 2003 honda civic and the day after I bought it it rained. My front headlight is full of water droplets. Ive been driving with my lights on, thinking it would clear up... but it hasnt. Is this a common problem with civics? If so... what can be done to prevent this?
Also, will it cause major problems if I just wait it out to see if it goes away?

I don't believe it's a common problem. I've never heard of numerous occations of it happening. I would bet the sealant is leaking. There is a DIY article that explains how to disassemble the headlight, but you may want to take it back to the dealer you bought it from and see if they will fix it.
Did you run a CarFax on it? It sounds like it may have been in an wreck???

bring it back to the dealer. a new car shouldnt have that problem. it should be covered in warranty.

The dealership has informed me they wont fix the light..Im already out of the basic warranty (with 40k miles). How difficult is this going to be to fix on my own(ie: does the bumper need to be removed)? Where can I purchase the material I need to reseal the headlight?
