Rotors warped?
I'm pretty sure the problem with my front brakes is warped rotors. but just to make sure.
When the car rolls slowly I hear slight pitches of metal grinding with each wheel rotation. the faster the rotation the faster the noise comes. It's an '98 Civic Sedan. When I'm driving in reverse the noise gets extremely loud, like a very high pitch noise and it's continuous, whenever I move in reverse this sound comes.
just warped rotors or could it be more?

The effect of warped rotors is more of a pulsing feeling when braking. If you slightly push on the brake pedal at moderate speeds and you feel the car slow down and then speed up a bit and slow down again as if the pads have a good deal of connection to the rotors and then lose it and gain it again, that is indicative of warped rotors because your pads are not pressing completely on the rotors when the warped point passes the pads.
Your symptoms make it sound like you are in dire need of pad replacement and you will likely need to have your rotors turned if you have warn the pads down to the bare metal. :happysad:

Yea I feel that, when I'm coming to a red light I brake slowly and the braking doesn't feel smooth
Is there a way to see an uneven rotor just by looking at it? I took a look at my rotors and some area's have lines darker then others.

Don't get x-drilled, you will regret it. They will crack, I know first hand. Just get blanks. AEM pads are good for street use.
As long as the rotors you currently have on there are not horribly warped and still have the specificied thickness specs after being turned then they will be ok to reuse. You can always upgrade to brembos, but it all depends on what you use your car for. Daily driving and regular stops do not really require the upgrade.
