Default Rolling back...

Hey,

I just got my si gauge cluster, im going to roll back the odometer to match the miles i currently have on my actual cluster. how do i go about rolling it back? i have the speedo off the cluster, what crank do i roll? also, will my odometer have a red line across the numbers? ive heard before on some cars that when you roll back the odo, a red line appears across the numbers? do the 99-00 si's do this? thaanks

if take out the speedomter portion, there is a brass phillips screw, take that out, then there is a pin that snaps in to both sides, take that out. be very carefull because you can break the plastic clip that holds the pin. once the pin is out, the gears all spin freely, adjust to what you want.

Did you not read my post before? It's illegal to tamper with the odometer. If you get caught you can get a heavy ass fine and go to jail.

you're taking the law out of context.

that law was set up to keep people from making cars look lower milage. He's swaping a new cluster in and changing the odometer to reflect true milage.

if thats illegal, then its gayer than pot being illegal :db:

eh. illegal only if you try to roll it back and sell the car with it. not illegal if you roll back to reflect your true mileage.
