Default Will the low fuel light work from a new instrument panel?

I got one from ebay since my cx didn't come with a rpm gauge. I notice ont he new panel it has Cruise control and low fuel light. My non RPM panel also has no low fuel light. For the low fuel light do you need a special sensor to be installed or does it have already just the light bar for it was never put in from factory?

i have no clue, but i wouldnt worry about it since you should never let the fuel level go that low.
