Default Weird Issue

I have a 1994 Honda Civic Ex with a JDM15b Vtec, very similar to the D16z6.

Ok i have an issue with my idle at stop lights, after being nice and warm when i come to a stop light the cars idle surges from about say 500 to 750, but it feels like it wants to die. I swapped the IACV and Fast Idle Valve already. What other problems could it be? I still have to flush my coolant for air. I replaced my plugs already, and am doing a wire replacement soon. Also i noticed sometimes when in 2nd or 3rd etc.. if i accelerate then let off the gas and try to re-accelerate it becomes very sluggish. I also know my timing is 18 degrees and not 16, could this be the issue?

my civic is automatic but i had similar problems except my car shut off every now and then. I changed the plugs and wires to no avail. but i had my distributor cap changed and to this day ive had no idle problems since, that was about 3 months ago.

The same thing happened to me, cleaned out the throttle body and it worked perfectly fine again.

throttle bosy needs cleaning and i'd suggest checking if your fuel filter to see if it's clogged or not
