Hey all, can anyone guide me through this process? ... how much does it cost? what kind of time is involved? can I do it myself?

Get an o2 socket and o2 sensor. Unplug and take off old sensor, put in and plug in new sensor. Done.

hahahaha. About 100 bux unless you get a bosch or something. Then you have to do some wire splicing.

I know that they're not all the same because some have male connectors and others have female... it'd be an easy change if you swap the plugs, but I don't know if the actual sensors themselves are the same.

Call Honda and ask them.. I still have that 95 EX one that I'll part with.

with the stock O2 sensor, ended up cutting the wires off, and using a standard socket, and then using the sensor socket to put the new one on. The old sensor was so tight that the sensor socket was stripping it.

All o2's have different part numbers, which is really weird. I just replaced mine with a P73 one.
