what head do i need

what head do i need

i have a 93 civic ex--what is the difference between a vtech head and a vtech-e head--both are listed to fit my car-- so which do i get and how much should i expect to pay for a rebuit head?

first its vtec, and the vtec-e is the economy version of vtec, not much performance out of it but good on gas

VTEC-E, afiak, is Europe/Japan only, so you'll probably have a VTEC head.

EDIT: Nevermind, Civic HX has them.

what are u talking about Europe/Japan only? It came in USDM Civic HX's

ok so does the vtec has some type of solenoids in it and the other doesn't?--both will work?

How much sould I expect to pay for a rebuild head?
