Default Help Me Decide

i have a 98 honda civic coupe and was debating on 2 swaps
that i might possibly do..and maybe you guys can help
me decide... 1) b16a2 (SI) or 2) b18b (LS) i need to choose
by this week..

i had the b18b in my 98 hatch you have do some wiring work and get a b16 rear mount and a b16 upper driver side mount. i got all the info on the wiring if you need it. I would go for the b18b more torque

hmm..torque would be nice.. but vtec as well =/

Yeah, B18B lacks vtec. So if you want it you may want to lean toward that B16. You could save a little cash and opt for a H22A. Might be a slight bit more work to get it swapped in but once you do it'll smoke D's and eat B's.

turbo ls > vtec

you can always add a vtec head later on if you wish.

There is no replacement for dissplacement,I say B18b.

I Think Im Getting Closer To My Decision.
Remember This Is Going Into A Coupe..
I Think Stock For Stock.. That B18b In A Coupe
Would Pull On A 99-00 Si.. I Dont Know..i Could Be Wrong.

SI has 20 more horses. Yeah,. you'd pull more at first because of the torque, but once you get to the higher RPMs you're going to lose your torque and it'll pull ahead of you.
