Default might buy del sol.. have a few questions

hey.. my gf is buying a car and she was looking for a civic but we found a pretty nice del sol and she loved it. anyway, its a 95 'S' auto so it's kind of slow. there's some weird noise coming from the front wheels, sounds like a bent axle or something but we're having a mechanic check it out tomorrow morning. the car is from florida and it's red, so all of the plastic parts are faded. he's asking 7400, I was thinking of offering 6500 after he fixes the problem with the front wheels. do you guys think that is a good price, and actually if the car's even worth getting? she doesn't really care that much about performance, she just thinks it's "cute"... thanks for the help.

forgot to mention, 56k on the odometer and the interior was flawless, no dents or scratches on exterior, just the fading from the sun.

The front is probably a bad hub (wheel bearings).

I bought mine for 6500+tt&l. A good amount of miles on it but it runs like a champ, and will do so until I have money to go further with it.

I would say if you are planning on upgrading your Del Sol try and find at least a 5 speed Si. There is nothing wrong with the S model, but an automatic S is going to be hell on the upgrades. If you're not into the speed thing then go for it. Me it has to be a hella lot more go than show.

Also just bought my first wheel tire package. Went back to the mid-late 90s style with the 17x7 Axis Touring Cups in white with some 205/35/17 Yokohoma Paradas.

Plus got a set of used 15" GSR 7 star twisty rims on BFGs.

Now i am fast as **** and looking good.

Plus got a Web Cam, and "secret internal work" plus the button.
