Default Window Problem NEED HELP!!!

I have a 98 civic ex and when i put my window all the way up it doesnt close all the way. When it gets to the top it hits the top and doesnt stay there it tries but doesnt every stay. It isnt off track because i had that checked already. I was wondering if the motor can be going or something like that because no one can seem to figure this out. And i dont wanna bring it to the dealer and pay a huge price for no reason.

So it gets to the top, and then slides back down?

Sounds like the gear on the motor, or the gear on the tracks is having a problem with the teeth, or the motor is not holding it's position and allowing it to fall back down. I would start with replacing the motor. 96-00 civic power windows are nothing but trouble. My GF's 00 EX window keeps falling out of the tracks, and it's time for me to start replacing parts.

yah i know what u mean. Do you think that this could be covered through the warranty that Honda gave me because I have it until like May 2005. It is a bumper to bumber warranty. Or are they easy to put in>??

It should be covered under warranty, it's not that hard, just tedious because of the lack of room in the door.
