Hi im a total newb when it comes to cars in general i was in the process of changing the body style but i got into a accident a few weeks back and my front end is bent. now my question is what is the metal piece that holds the latch for the hood called that is behind the bumper? im buying a new hood but it wont do any good if it cant latch

 

The radiator support? I think that's what you're getting at...
