Jumping to conclusions such as you just did by labeling me as a moron just makes yourself look idiotic.
Many of us (myself included) DO NOT have the $150 for HPDE events, $40 for test and tune at the track or even the $20 for Weds. Night drags. This is why streetracing happens. My friends and I will participate in every sanctioned event we can, and unfortunately often times we can't, which is why we do take every precaution possible during these streetraces.
If you intend to respond, do so with an answer which is on topic, and please refrain from blurting out messages and/or poor analogies which make you look like a naive, ignorant jackass.
Thank you.

I find it funny that people never have money to spend on an HPDE or drag race (Legal Racing), but can spend $2000 on wheels, $600 on a carbon fiber hood, and $5000 on a swap. Weird eh?

There are many things we do during the course of the day whcih may endanger the lives of others, when we race, or any of the races I go to, the only people in immdiate danger are the ones racing. True, many things "could" possibly happen which may lead to the endangerment of innocent people, but they are slim. The people racing know of the risks, and are willing to accept that.
Forgive me for I have not known anyone lost in a streetracing accident which may be why I have the opinion I do, but I believe someone going down a freeway at 135 mph amongst traffic is at a much greater risk then the type of racing we do.

If you took it as an attack upon yourself than that's your fault. Does that mean you're guilty of it? You decide. If your read closer you would see that what I referred to was even if you cleared your so called "organized street racing" track. You're still going to have a moron or idiot try to think he can cross the track quick enough to beat the cars, etc....

The problem with street racing is that you put other people who are doing their everyday normal things and forcing them into a situation where they had no intentions of being in.
That would be like me pushing you out of a plane and you not knowing if you have a parachute strapped to your back or an anvil and then saying "HAVE FUN!"
