disconnect the vacuum supply to the brake booster... that's really unadviseable though, cause it'll also make it harder to stop.

other than that, stainless steel lines claims to give a better pedal feel, though i've never had any personal experience with them so i can't say for sure if it'll do what you want.

bleed your brakes. h:

SS lines will help the feel because the lines won't be able to expand when you press on the brakes.

Absolutely... also, you could find a ITR master cylinder (1", should bolt right in) / booster. Do you have rear drums or disks?

doesn't bolt right in. You have to get a different fitting and cut/bend/reflare a line. Far from bolt-on.

^not really
A lot of itr units are direct bolt in. So you have to bend a few things...so what?
If you do get an abs unit, with larger fittings, just re-double flare. Also not a big deal.

I believe the 98+ USDM ITR's are bolt in.
