Default 96-01 civic cv boot replace HELP.

I am going to replace my own CV boot. How do I remove half shaft?

You need to remove the axle nut first. Then you have to loosen the suspension fork and slide it down. Then remove the lower balljoint underneath the caliper. Slide the hub assembly away and remove the axle splines from the hub. Then pry the axle out with either a screwdriver (passenger side) or a crowbar (drivers side). If you are removing the passenger side, you must drain the tranny and refill when done.

There is probably something I am missing out but if in doubt, buy a service manual.
