Ever since i have gotten my short ram intake installed, there is a ringing/buzzing noise that wont go away. I opened the hood today and the little metal piece(which is screwed into a old intake hole on the body of the car and then the other side screwed into a clamp which holds the intake in place) was broken. Im guessing when i drive the intake vibrates since it is not connected to anything to keep it in place. Im not sure though. I want to hear what you guys have to say.

Remove all the old factory intake brackets, airboxes and bolts. One of those could be rattling or rubbing on your new part.

 

how about ansering the phone

 

since nothing is anchoring you intake to the car, it is shaking freely, and the filter is probably banging on the engine bay (I had that problem).
