OK, lets see if I can explain this right..when you open the door, the latch inside the door itself, it latches onto the metal piece / hook on the car. Can that be adjusted? I have a 2005 and it sounds like it slightly rubs it, on the passenger side its silent. Almost like it needs adjusted up or down a hair. Is that possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

You can adjust lossen off the phillips and be carefull to note where the striker was it the part that the door latches to lowwer it just a bit not to much that should help .
