Default HEY ALL!!! Need some help

Hey all I did a Ls Vtec on a 91 Tegra I know I know This is the civic forum but I thought it get a much better responce here.

91 block
01 Type R head
B16 Tranny (cable)
ACT 6 puck no springs clutch

Vtec is not hooked up but for some reason it does not feel like it is even pushing like an LS. I bolted the head down 32lb then 62lb and a few people told me.

Ehhh Im running the stock LS ECU.

ANything will help thanks guys.

I'm telling you get the jumper cable and i'll let ya live for a few minutes on the Type R computer. So you can feel the power! lol

ok.. this is just my opinion but i'm thinking that it's going to be worthless the way that it is.. without the vtec hooked up, the only thing u've changed is your compression & not by that much.

Sweetness on your 6puck unsprung disk tho! i've got one in mine!

you'll definatly notice a difference when u get the other ECU & get that vtec hooked up.

Step 1: Get it working properly. You're not done yet. That's like dumping a B16A into a 5G Si hatchback and bitching that it's not faster because you haven't bothered to wire in the VTEC yet.

On a side note, I hope you've reworked your shortblock to handle that.
