You were looking at the entire car right? A 2000 Si will probably run you about 12-14K no matter where you look.
Or you could just swap the Si's engine into your CRX...it'll be lighter and faster
h:

I was trying to figure out which civic has the DOHC motor, so i could search traderonline and see how much they go for. And to my surprise, they go for around 14k bucks or more, used. I did'nt plan on spending that much for a civic.

Fastest DOHC VTEC Civic was probably the CRX SiR not sold in the U.S., but it is pretty close between the CRX, EG SiRII and the EK Type-R. I could be wrong.

motor wise the EK Type-R with the B16B engines were the fastest due to a bit higher compression, creating 15-20hp more then the SiR B's.
Also, it was mated with a Type-R tranny , with a different final drive and gearing, which also added quite abit speed wise, im sure.

Nah but GS-R, Civic or Integra Type R, Si's are Fast! It all depends you know if the motor has work done to it!
