Default Wideband o2 Sensor

Hey guys, just curious about this. Are you able to use a wideband o2 sensor from other vehicles in a honda or is it vehicle specific??

like out of a wrx or somethin

it depends on the interface to the wideband, some are six wire, some are four wire, and some others are five wire.
From what I know almost all four wire widebands are honda ECU compatable while using tuning software.
Only the EP+ and the VX/HX use wideband O2 in normal operation.

thats good info.. i was un-aware that any honda's used wideband o2's for normal operation.

non-wideband/normal O2 measures right around 14.7 and nothing else.
A wideband O2 measures from 9.5:1 to 20:1 (depending on the wideband O2 of course) Used for tuning purposes to make sure you're fuel map is correct and the engine is running at it's best.

you gonna wire in the wideband so you can use it to tune your uberdata?

I got a 4 wire wideband from Bosch, it was 80.00 online.

acutally i was thnkin about using that V-AFC that i have layin around here to manage my fuel curve.. & i could set it up properly by using a wideband o2 to show me how she's running & adjust accordingly
