Default Tire Pressure!!!!

Hey PPL!!! ! I need some help!..what is the recommended tire pressure for passenger cars? I dunno Also, Does anyone have any spoilers for a 96 Honda Civic! I need one..cheap tho!

check on your tires.. it'll give you a general idea of what the pressure should be.. I ride around on 35psi, lower for the track of course

Which is wrong. That is the MAX pressure you can put in your tires.

Do you have a manual? Look in it and read. If not you can always search on the net. Most Civics are from 32-37.

on mine i usually run 32 all around.

According to the sticker in the driver's side doorjamb it says 30 in the front and 29 in the rear.

I know that the tire pressure on the tire is the max, but I was just referring to it to get a general idea.. Mine say 42max, and I run 35

The MAX pressure on the tire's sidewall is not the general idea. That's the max pressure you should put in the tire which is not the same as the OEM pressure. MAX pressure on my AZENIS are 52psi. MAX pressure on my snow tires are 37psi. That's a huge spread.

He will learn what max presure meens when he blows a tire... When I got my car, the guy had 50PSI in the stock tires, and the max was like 32... I almost had a heart attack!
