timing adjustment

Default timing adjustment

'96 Civic D16Y8

Trying to figure out which pointer to use when setting the base timing. There's an open one on top and then another pointed one down near the crankshaft pulley. Not sure which one I should be lining up the marks with, or if I should be sighting it so the bottom mark is inside the upper one.

I line up the two, sort of like sights on a gun.

line up both then adjust.
