Default questions about the vafc 2..

hey guys..ive some questions about the vafc II

motor mods:

itr cams, skunk2 manifold, dcsports header, p28 ecu..

if i change the vtec settings...now its at 5500rpm, i wonder how low can i get it and whats the advantages?

thankful for some help..

going too low will lose you power. dont touch the settings unless you're on a dyno.

definately wait till your own a dyno.

5500 is the equilibrium point where the vtec cam lobes outperform the other camshaft lobes. by guessing you could pretty much lose power, efficiency, etc... but then again u could gain. but do it on a dyno.

whats the stock vtec settings of the b16? 5800rpm? or 5500? :thinking:

depends on how much throttle, but fully warm engine @ full throttle is 5700

yes dont touch it unless ur on the dyno. it can do more harm then good to tune it via butt dyno. i have one install, only i ever messed with is the visual displays.
