How to reset cel on 99 civic?

If you disconnect the battery and it is still there, removing the fuse won't do anything. Fix the problem and disconnect the battery and it should go away. Disconnecting the battery is instantanous whereas the fuse takes a few seconds.

just take it somewhere like autozone or something they will check it and turn it off for free

hey speaking of CEL lights,

has anyone left that connector shorted after checking a CEL, I'm curious would this mean that the code alwayd flashes rather then just the light; or would this have any ill effects on the car?
