Default Ecu Question?

Hey just got a 2000 civic type-r ecu, and hooked it up to my 2000 civic si. Does anyone know the acctuall shift point that i will be able to shift with out hurting my moter. Plaese let me know..

The ECU doesn't change the max RPM your engine can handle.

yep, just because you changed the ECU doesn't change where your engine makes the best power or the valvetrain's limit.
you utilize the ECU you need to upgrade the valvetrain and cams. Even then you will run rich and may end up with a lower end failure.
