i heard lowering springs are better than coilovers..... and i'll have a set of stock springs, so i can just switch in the summer (with the ones that came on the car)

btw the decision was between a '97 Integra SE with 57,000 miles that was $1500 cheaper and had leather interior. But i'm going with the Si, its newer, has lower mileage and has 20 extra hp from the start

coilovers are alot easier to adjust than swapping springs. and most of the people that have springs, their cars dont sit level

$11,000 canadian for the Si (SiR)
$9,000 canadian for the Teg

But i've pretty much decided for the Si already... its newer, lower mileage, 20 more hp from the start and it wasnt winter driven

true coilovers > lowering springs > sleeve coilovers (with a few exceptions)

Edit: btw, I am in toronto too so no shipping and you can see them before buying.
Damn if the car was in good shape, I would of bought them off you for sure BUT

it looks like I'll be going for the Integra after all... the Si was a complete piece of shit under it all. I got it checked out at honda and guess what i found out:

The transmissions already been changed, and the bolts on it are loose

The struts are leaking and not installed properly

Theres lowering springs in the front, and coilovers in the back that arent even the same brand.

It had 61,000 miles not KMs (I didnt know the car was from the US)

It had extremely low clutch fluid... and the clutch was just changed

and the kicker.... there was NO oil in the engine. Who the fuk owns an Si and drives it with NO oil in the engine. What a bum

there was more, but that was the important shit
