Well, it was in a Florida yard that I found an S5 RX-7 taillight... those are virtually non-existant in VA.

 

Forgive my ignorance,but i forgot you live in a country area
and the newest cars there are probably early to mid 90s.

 

Thats a joke, right? All of the old, crapped out cars that fail inspection and whatnot up here are sent to Florida and other low end markets. I've never considered downtown Richmond or the Northern Virgina area "country." :squint:

Parts are in such high demand, the newer (~94+) cars are stripped out before they even get the chance to get to a junkyard.

 

We some got old mother ******* down here for sure.
We only have smog in some counties around Atl, so people can drive pretty much any old beater they want. Once in a while I get that old familiar smell of a carbed small blocks exhaust.
But it's mostly that putrid sh!t that comes out of engines of today.
(when I'm on my bike I mean)

 

im from florida and every salvage yard i goto the only civics they have are front end collision civics and a few rear end collision civics

 

if you can't find it locally partmartone.com has pretty good deals on body stuff.
