A lot of folks here like 205/50/15. Brand is up to you. I'm using Falken Ziex 512's (they're all season tires). Though you might want to use another brand since you're using it for the winter.

I have Dunlop Sport A2s on my stockies for winter...they are awesome. About $75-80 per tire...but well worth it IMO.

I recommend Nokian Hakkapelittas. Funny name awesome snow tires. The company is in Scandanavia and they do testing on a snow/ice covered track.

The skinnier your tire the better it is for winter because you want the tire to bite through the snow not float on top. I recommend going as skinny as you can. I have 195/55x15" Hakkapelitta 2s on my OEM Si wheels. I think they came out with a newer and better tire the "RSI". My 2s are also studdable.

I would recommend any studded tire for winter use. That's what they are made for.

Studded tires may be illegal for use in VA, but so is my car. I'm buying a set of studded tires. :fawk:

I can tell you right now that the Falken Ziex is going to suck for winter use... when I ran 502's on my drive wheels (rear, of course) they lost traction in perfect conditions. I hate those tires. :squint:

For winter? They would all suck - especially the T1S and the 711s. Go to http://www.tirerack.com and see what to use for winter.
