92 Civic DX D15B7 engine. Have a noise (sounds like a worn rattling roller bearing) coming from the timing belt area at cold startup. Sound dissappears after warmup. Removed all the belts to eliminate the accessories, no fix. Just replaced timing belt, tensioner, and waterpump, still no fix. Sound seems to be coming from the oil pump. Is there such a thing as a noisy oil pump?
No low oil pressure light. Engine runs perfectly. No idea engine milage, engine replaced before car purchase. Was told it was a low milage engine from newer car.
Any ideas appreciated...
