Instead of buying it from sylvania themselves, you might want to try this place. It's cheaper;

I wanna join in on the 9003ST "mini group buy" thing! It took forever and a day for the 9003ST to be released, as the 9004, 9005, 9006, and 9007 Silverstars have been available for over a year.

My only qualm about the Silverstars is they seem to fade. My friend got a pair of 9006ST for her Accord. One burned out in a few months, so she put the stock bulb back in. The stock bulb does have a bit more lumens output, but the Silverstar, while still whiter than stock, does not seem as white as brand new. I did a comparison test when she first got them, and put one Silverstar in and left the other stock, and the difference was bigger when it was brand new. I should've have told her to give me the burnt bulb so I could examine the coating on the capsule.

For my uncle's birthday, I bought him a pair of 9007STs for his Nissan Frontier. He said they seemed whiter, but they were more on par of Cool Blue because there was very little difference in whiteness.

I remember when Cool Blues came out in early 1999, there seemed to be a lot of production variances, with some bulbs burning out quickly in the Civics of various friends, while others lasted two years. Also, the coating on different Cool Blues varied a lot in color and thickness from one bulb to another. This was all for 9003CB. I'm assuming the same kind of production variance may be in the initial run of 9003ST.

Let me know how much each 9003ST bulb costs, after factoring taxes or shipping if any.

Hey Grifter, you should try buying a pair of 9003SB (General Electric Super Blue) from WalMart. They are about $17.86/pair, and are about the same, if not exactly, as a Sylvania Cool Blue. I think GE has some kind of arrangement with Sylvania, as a few Super Blues I've seen were manufactured by Sylvania. Also, GE's Super Blue sealed beams have "Sylvania" on the lens!

I know you don't have money, but WalMart has a great return policy. Keep the receipt, and tell them they did not light the road very good. Unfortunately, a lot of people have abused WalMart, as I see a lot of resealed Super Blue packages with clear bulbs inside. Anyways, they will refund your money. It's all up to you if you want to deal with the hassle. =)
