Default TPS loose, how to fix.........

my tps is loose, and honda actually use rivets to hold it down. when its held at certain location the idle is fine, others the idle jumps up and down. since its riveted in, i cant make it any tighter? do i take the old rivets out and replace with screws?

anyone experience with this, please help me out. its temporary held in place with hondabond.

any help is appreciated.

Have a multimeter? Be sure to adjust it to .5 closed, 4.5 full open. The car will act weird, or just use more fuel, if it isn't set right.

JDM motors use screws while the american motors use rivets. my sugestion is to cut a slit in each rivet and use a flathead to tighten em down or you can try to find screws to fit it. one sugestion is to not take it off entirely cause they are a bitch to adjust again. they have to be set to 4.5v using a multimeter

actually none of them use rivits. they are all threaded. they do look like rivits though.
