Default Shock Questions....

I'm looking at buying either KYB AGX or Tokico Illumina shocks for my 2000 Civic Si. What would be the better choice for just street driving? Also... is it even worth buying shocks or can I just keep my old stock shocks and just buy springs?

Thanks in advance.

I have AGX's and they are decent. Very cheap. I would recommend aftermarket shocks with springs unless you feel like blowing them out relatively quickly.

I'll throw in my $0.02. The illuminas are awesome and will last with a drop with no problems.

Well I had 2.5 lowering sprint springs on my stock shocks for a long time without any problems. I finally switched to koni yellows, and I like them a lot better. Don't have any experience with the 2 your considering.
