Installing new electrical
If you are installing a new electrical component, like say a horn for example, what do you connect the positive wire to to get a power source from the battery?

for a horn, I'd go to the battery itself, or to a fuse in the under hood fuse box. Through a relay of course.
anything under the dash, I'd run to the options connectors next to the fuses.
