Default o2 Sensor

What are the disadvantage and problems i'll be running into by riding without o2 sensors????
OBD2 DOHC VTEC
daily driving car!

you wont really notice that much of a difference but you wll be throwing a CEL and your gas mielage might go down bit.

the engine running rich/lean(er) to the extreme of damaging something else?

I wouldn't recommend running without it unless you want to be running super rich to the point of damage.

You need O2 sensors (OBD2) in order for your engine to run correctly. The ECU will think that you are leaning out because it will not read anything from the O2 sensor so it will compensate by ritchening up the air/fuel mixture causing your performance and gas mileage to decline.

What's the point of removing your O2 sensors? What's your reasoning?

I was runing without it before i swapped!
When i bought the car i did not have them (the guy that had the car took them out so he could run a straight pipe)
I really didnt care about the d16 and I drove around for around a year without o2s
and had no problem.
i dont know if im going to be as lucky with my new engine but I dont want to risk it

Having straight pipes has nothing to do with whether you can or can not run O2 sensors. Just have a muffler shop weld a bung in there for the sensors. Easy... :dunno:
