Default Buzzkill........aarrgg

Ok, my del sol has had the basic mods done, IHE. It runs great but sounds exactly how i didnt want it to sound. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! It has a good melow tone but at normal acceleration I can hear a buz like 2 thin peices of metal vibrating. What causes this? I got the same muffler on my 4dr and it sounds nothing like this. On my del sol i got a highflow cat and 2.5" piping which is not on my 4dr. I am willing to sacrifice power to get rid of the buzzing....So how do i do it?

Probably your heat shields under the car. Take a look sometime.

that and the fact that when a lot more air is passing through it its going to make a different sound...like when we threw an intake on our car our aftermarket exhaust sound got a lot louder and a lot higher in pitch...if u dont like the sound i recommend a dual tipped exhaust or even flowmaster...both are lower in tone instead of the chainsaw in a tin can sound

I believe heat shields too. Check under the car to make sure none of the shields are touching anything.
