I disagree
I own a thermal stealth and its very nice. It never sounds like a fart or tinny.
Quality sound that is never what Id call loud, really. Of course, its louder than stock, though.

I've got a thermal system on my '98 EX. The original system I had was very loud, equal or louder than an N1 or Tanabe RM. It was fun when I was out playing with the car but almost impossible to have a conversation inside the car at highway speeds. I had their stealth system installed (basically a silencer welded inside the muffler) and it's more reasonable now but still always noticeable and you have to speak up on the highway to talk. I've been considering getting an Apex WS forever but just never have the motivation and money at the same. I'll probably sell this car before I ever change that exhaust.

hmm...so far i got 1 positive and a bunch of negatives. i'm torn. i had the tanabe rm and loved it, the inside of the car was quiet. 3 inch in and out is a bit big i guess...oh well, looks like the search continues.
