Nope... it will act more like a "normal" SOHC VTEC engine. You'd probably have to hotwire the first solenoid always on.

I have personally used a P28 on a D15B without a single change in the way VTEC works or problems with the motor running funny. Ran like normal without a CEL. :dunno:

Are you talking about the normal D15B or the two stage D15B? Yeah, the single stage would act normal, I'd figure the D15B two stage would take a little tweaking.

Did they make some D15Bs with duoVTEC or all of them?

I didn't check. Said D15B, I put it in with a P28. :dunno:

Most are single, but a few where two stage... the second VTEC solenoid gives it away.
