Should I use a b18a1 in my 95 civic
I've got a 95 civic ex si, it has a d16z6 stock motor. I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but I'm a newbie when it comes to these cars and would appreciate any help. I can get my hands on a b18a1 out of a 92 acura integra gs, is this a decent motor to mod? And yes I will most likely turbo. I dont think its v-tech, but can I change the head from a v-tech b18 ? d16
just doesnt get it done! Its not turbo'd and it seems like to much money would have to be thrown at it, to make it pump any decent hp. Any help from people who have done this swap would be much appreciated!

to use the b18a you would need to buy
94-95 integra: axles, mounts, distributor, injectors, exhaust manifold......there is already a thread about this...please search and ask more specific questions
Is the hardest part of swap the wiring? I checked for seaches, there were only a few listed. And not any opinions on the swap.
And as far as being more specific, Hmmmm I was asking for opinions on the swap, not for a detailed guide of how to! Although if you have one I'll take it, lol. I was just wondering if this was a common swap or not. I can get it cheap, although I'll need to rebuild it, (high mileage) and figured I would just look into it.

The motor will drop right in. You will need your d16 injectors(cause there OBD1) the b18a1 are obd0. Umm you need to get a distro from a b18b1. upper driversside mount, rear mount, tranny mount and you will be good to go. Ohhh and you will use your stock wireharnes and the tegra linkage.
