OBX CAI on Ebay - Yes or No?
Thanks for the heads up guys... it's also good to hear from someone who's got experience with the obx... something you definitely wouldn't find out on a site trying to sell 'em!

the power gain differance between short and cold is minimal if anything... short should be cheaper, will never suck up water, and perform almost the same. so i think the choice to go with short is very clear.. just my 2cents
i read somewhere that short rams with bigger piping are actually performing better b/c the full CAI has more piping=more friction=more heat, and if you drop your resonator, the air hitting the ram is actually cooler and less restrictive
I've saw this on a website when I was doing research for a cheap CAI. The only 2 ways to do it cheaply were the Poormans way, and the CP Racing Motorsports intake on ebay. Thats what I did. Its cheap, and its so damn close to the AEM that I'm surprised they haven't been sued for it.
Its one of the only single piece CAI setup on ebay other than AEM and Iceman. And its DOT approved. It fit like a charm with no mods needed.
Also on the 7th Gen Civic, there was an article/dyno run for a AEM CAI, Short ram, and Stock. The best was the CAI, while the short ram was actually worse than Stock. This was blamed on early designs.
