removing valve cover?????

no offense but taking the valve cover off has to be the easiest thing to do... u unscrew take off put new on remembering the gasket and re screw

I know.

Can you work a socket wrench? If so, then this is pretty easy. Forget the gaskets and seals (unless you got an old car). I took my cover off at least 3 times and it doesn't leak.

so if the car is new like a 2000 model u don't need to replace the gaskets and seals?

If you're THAT worried about it...and it sounds like you are. Just spend the freaking 10 dollars and do it so you can have peace of mind, but don't post the same question 15 times.

hes right, this isnt a big deal.

when you take it off be gentle, inspect it for tears, inspect it for rot. if it looks set it carefully to the side and reinstall it. if not, then get a new one

common sense is really important when you work on your car. and you cant buy that.
