Hey guys wondered if i should go for this deal or not.

I was calling around to a couple junk yards here in philly and in jersey. I came across a couple places that had trannys from 350-450. With a 30day warranty.

I found one place that had a 92 Civic EX Auto tranny with less then 50,000 miles on it and it came with a 90 day warranty for $400. My face was like . I was wondering if thats a good deal. My mechanic is gonna put it in for me for $300. The tranny comes complete with all sensors (which i need a new speed sensor).

I got the 92 civic LX but im gonna be getting a D16 or a D15B SOHC VTEC swap prolly early next year. I just needed a new tranny since mine is going bad. When i look at the tranny is there anything i should be looking for and how high do you think i should go for it.

for 400 bucks you can get a full swap, motor, tranny, ecu...everything.
