94 EX Brake Conversion: Why not use parts from 94 Civic with disc?
Hello all:
In doing my research for my upcoming rear brake conversion on my 94 Civic EX, I always see everyone using the trailer arms from Acura Integras or other Civics.
What has me scratching my head is why don't people use the trailer arms from a 1994 with Discs. I understand the ITR Cylinder, booster and all that. But isn't obvious to use the trailer arm from the same car if it exists?
Is there a certain issue I am not aware of?
Thanks for the help

1992-95 civics with rear disc brakes are rare. It'll work...but Integra rear discs setups are easier to find.
94-01 integra and 92-95 civic parts are basically interchangable and share the same design.

Excellent, thanks for the assist. Just wanted to make sure. While on the topic, so if I do find an EX with the discs, should I still go out of my of way to get the ITR master, booster, prop, or should I just stick with the EX's
Thanks again
Thanks again

Im guessing the front disc brakes on an EX are 10.2? If they are, I suggest getting a 15/16 MC and a 40/40 prop valve. If your front discs are DX/LX size (9.3) a prop valve is probably the only thing you'll need IMO.

...to the best of my knowledge.
