Default D16A6 Head Clearance

I have an 89 honda civic Si and I wanna machine down the head to get a little more compresion the problem is I have no idea how much is the clearance so i would know how much i can take off.
If anybody knows please answer, thanks.

Don't bother taking that engine apart. If, for any reason, you need to rebuild it, you could replace it instead.

This belongs on the pre-92 or engine tech sections.

Anyway, the easy way to tell is by using some plastigauge.

I know you can shave a lot off of the older D15A3 Si engines, but I have no idea about the D16A6.
